Ernst & Young's report on Tuesday showed that China and India have surpassed the United States as the two most attractive countries for renewable energy investment.
In the world's 40 most attractive renewable energy market annual rankings, China and India ranked first and second.
The United States ranked first on this list last year and fell to third place this year, as the US energy policy under President Trumpe has changed.
China also announced this year that it will invest US $ 363 billion by 2020 to develop renewable energy production capacity. The Indian government has also announced plans to generate renewable energy capacity of 175 GW in kilowatts by 2022.
European countries, Germany ranked fourth, France ranked eighth, the United Kingdom from last year's 14th rose to 10th.
