The southwest of Mexico was hit by an earthquake on Sunday night. The magnitude wasn't too large, but it triggered the earthquake alarm in Mexico City, causing anxious people to pour into the streets.
According to preliminary data from the Mexico seismological department, this is a magnitude 5.6 earthquake, and the United States Geological Department subsequently released the 5.2 level.
According to the Mexico civil defense agency, there is no loss report.
