Booming market
In 2017, the world's new energy passenger vehicle totaled more than 1 million 220 thousand vehicles, up 58% over the same period last year. Among them, China's new energy passenger cars sold more than 578 thousand vehicles, accounting for up to 47.37%. With the further promotion of energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection, the popularization of new energy vehicles has become an irreversible market trend.
Because of this, more and more multinational car companies have formulated corresponding development strategies for the Chinese market. Not long ago, Ford Motor Co. announced plans to move 70% of its electric vehicle production lines to China by 2025. Tesla in Huajian works will also have high hopes for the Chinese market. The company has suggested that Tesla's sales in China will account for the largest share of its global sales in a few years.
With the surge in sales of new energy vehicles, the demand for drive motor market is rising rapidly. It is predicted that the global drive motor market will reach US $4 billion 400 million in 2020.
New energy vehicle drive motor needs special bearings. Compared with traditional automobiles, new energy automobiles require motor to have a high limit speed, at the same time to adapt to - 40 C low temperature requirements and 150 C high temperature requirements, and require bearing maintenance function, to adapt to frequent start and stop caused by axial impact.
