U.S. Senator Mark Warner said Wednesday that he hoped to "understand more fully" Britain's claim that it had not found any reason for Huawei's malicious activities in China. U.S. authorities say Huawei's equipment could be used by China for espionage.
Warner is the Democratic leader of the Senate Intelligence Special Committee. He added that the United States and its allies "need to maintain a common front" to guard against the risk of using equipment from countries "that do not respect the rule of law".
